No It's not a hologram, they took the '68 Comeback Special, and they split the screen to make it seem that Elvis and Celine are on the stage together. :) But when they show the back of Elvis, it's a body double. :)

Elvis did this song for Dr. King, and had his song writers, write up a song once he heard of the death of Dr. King, as Elvis went crazy hering of Dr. Kings death.
I was fortunate as a 12 year old boy to hear Elvis do this in his 1968 comeback concert. Every kid in the neighborhood was glued to their tv! We never forgot him though he thought we had, and that's why he did this song at the end of the show!
Whitney should have been doing the duet with Elvis. Its ironic because her mom was one of the backrground singers for the original live version in '68
As much as I love Celine's magnificient voice ... she does absolutely nothing for this song. Elvis brings to this great song, emotions and a much needed sense of lamentation and despair, which Celine totally lacks. Elvis sings it with a feeling that grabs and moves you.
