It's the story of Hi'iakaikapoliopele, the youngest sister of the fire goddess Pele. It recounts the travels of the Pele family to Hawai'i and the meeting of Pele and Lohiau in a dream, where they fall in love.
Pele asks Hi'iaka to find Lohiau and bring him to Pele. The performance ends with Hi'iaka beginning her journey.

This was an amazing performance I was there at the song contest it was Just amazing! It got me so intrested that I actually read the book! The song and the whole Ho'ike was amazing! Thanks for the post of the video :D
