Which mode are you playing with, passive or active? sounds very nice, keep it up. what are your tone controls set to?

@jegsie Balance knob is set to the middle. Basically half J half P. The bass is only active. And the Bass and mids fully boosted and the treble set to half. Thanks for the comment ;)

How does the sound of this bass compare to a Jazz bass? It seems that with a pretty powerful bridge pickup that you can get a nice growly tone with that bass that you wouldn't be able to get with a straight P.

@chris0186 thanks for the comment. I haven't played Jazz basses that much really. But I think the bridge pickup on this bass is very similar to the ones on the Jazz basses. Fender stopped producing these (late 90's) active basses afaik. I prefer the sounds of active electronics. It has a variety of sounds, which makes me think about making a video about the variety of tones I can get.
