So this Atheist leaves some nasty comment on my page and I address it with him and I get called names and told I'm stupid for my beliefs? Help me make sense of that?!

Your not a Roman Catholic Priest so you can not speak about how the Vatican handled anything.

You need to tell your followers that you are NOT Roman Catholic otherwise you are deceiving them and misleading them.

@jumbaljoe As a human being I have the right to speak on any subject. If the Vatican or any institution has poorly handled a situation I can speak out against that.

Considering that nearly half of my videos address the fact that I am not a Roman Catholic priest I don't see how anyone could assume otherwise. I am not promoting a lie.

Father Nathan, I am an agnostic and Buddhist, and I think you should turn away from such baiting. This person you described has a very unbalanced mind. No good can come from such a broken dialog. I apologize for all the nasty things people are saying to you and other decent priests. May God forgive them for their lack of righteous discernment. May God give you/them forgiveness to those who are attacking unfairly. May God bring about righteous justice to those priests and also evangelical ministers and sports coaches who have misused their authority.

Father Nathan, of course what he said is not okay. I dont subscribe to the "rights" (& obligations) way of thinking myself, so, to me it's a moot point to complain that he has the right etc etc. It's up to you (to each of us) to say what's ok, what's acceptable - and what's not. That's what matters.

It's true what chopin65 says - you're being baited by someone. Me - I'm *slowly* learning to not argue with people, life will knock off their edges ...eventually.

The phenomenon you are speaking about is certainly isn't new among humans. We experience it more now because of our expanded capability to communicate. I'm an amateur radio operator we we heard the best & worst of people long before widespread internet access, in that was in a forum where anymty was not allowed.
