  • I really though that by 2010 robots would be better than this.

  • Keep in mind this robot is affordable. You don't find many robots at this pricepoint with these features. SONY's ill-fated QRIO was a much better robot, but would have been as expensive as a luxury car!

  • What can it do, apart from walk and move around? Does it have facial recognition, or can it carry things? I would buy this one if it could do something somewhat useful or interesting/unique.

  • @Xadreos

It does facial recognition (actually during the demo it could detect and recognize three people at once) and as you can see in the video (turn on annotations) it takes pictures which it can send to email, reads online news feeds, downloads and shares applications, etc.. All in all quite a nice package.

  • @darthmountain There are other robots that can do more than this robots. These robots are markets for civilians. The military robots, trust me, you don't wants to see those guys. Those military robots can think on it' own. They actually look like human too, scary look tho. They also alot stronger than humans. Terminator, you wonder, yes if someone programming it right with the free-thinking and emotion.

  • Hey look! A robot that can move! :O

  • Impressive humanoid. ;)

  • I was struggling to find something useful that this robot can do...when will robots actually solve our daily problems.

  • Its simply amazing :)
