Thank you so much for that "help" I was messing with it for an hour with no sound out of my master track, when I decided to see if there was a help on Youtube- voila there's you and your cat solving the problem. You rock, Sir. Thanks again.

hi, can u explain to me why when i record a track n when i want to record another track the 1st one doesnt play as in der is no sound. hope u understand lolz

There is a setting in Audactiy to change this. When you open Audacity, go to the top and click "Edit" then at the bottom of that list, click "Preferences". In the menu that pops up, make sure "Audio I/O" is checked, and put a checkmark in the box that says something like "Play track while recording new track"
