How much does the Royal Family cost taxpayers? I decided to put this together after hearing one too many people moan about **getting a public holiday** for the Royal Wedding and I put it back on the front page after hearing the same complaints about the Diamond Jubilee.

    Yes - the problem with this argument is that the Queen's ancestors stole this land from the British people in the first place. So that was nice deal, steal the land and bequeath it back to the people you stole it from on return for a large amount of money paid annually in perpuity.

    So now all tourist revenue is ALL because of the royal family? Absolutely not, that is complete and utter bullshit. Apparently literally every tourist that goes to the UK is not going there because of family or anything noo, they go all thanks to the royal family.
