Just one question: is there a reason that these College Republicans are dicking around on campus instead of signing up for the military and shipping off to Iraq? I mean, other than abject cowardice, obviously.

Illegals dont obey any of our laws. Cheap labor hurts the working poor as it shifts the job market in favor of employers. I dont belong to the republican party but democrats suck alot more.

The scholarship foundation went bankrupt and could not even help those kids that deserved it. Oh and by the way. I worked my way through college. I received two degrees and paid for all of it except the first 600.00 dollars. @kyle4miller you should not speak about things that you do not know anything about.

The scholarship foundation required that students must apply for other scholarships and financial aid. Illegals did not have to go through the trouble of applying for either financial aid or scholarships because they could not get them. The scholarship foundation had to foot the total bill for more than 50% of the kids that went to college when they should only have had to pay 100s of dollars instead of 1000s.

@kyle4miller You don't think my scholarship went "away" because you don't know. At my grade school a grade level was chosen to receive a scholarship paid for if they completed high school and received good grades. Unfortunately because I lived in such a poor neighborhood, more than 50% of the kids that I went to school with are Illegal. I knew their families, I knew they were illegal. Much of these kids were allowed to get GEDs instead of finishing high school.

@heelflip101 I'm sorry I REALLLLLLY don't think the reason your scholarship went away is because of illegal immigrants...You know illegal immigration has been a problem since before you were born, right?  You're also aware that the world doesn't revolve around you I hope. There is a budget crisis with HUNDREDS of issues purporting it that took your scholarship away. My advice: Get a job, stop whining about not getting hand outs.

you know i live in the most libearl county in maryland they wanted to put a day labor center right in the smack middle of my neighborhood! and like we dont have enough problems with them already, and believe me the neighbors were pissed it does not belong in a residential area and the washington post called us all bigots! excuse me lets see what happens when something like that is put in your neighborhood! they are not citizens they come into this country illegally and break our laws!

My scholarship couldn't pay for my classes this year because for the last 6 years they have been paying for illegal immigrants who cant even get jobs with their degrees. They take our jobs, lower our wages, and frankly they are felons. Our economy issues are, in part, due to loans that were offered to illegal immigrants. Obama voted for these lax qualifications for low income and illegal immigrants. Google it! Do we need better border control? Yes!
