In a deal that could be worth millions, Deutsche Telekom -
the largest phone company in Europe - signed a 5-year strategic
e-commerce contract with BEA Systems.

Under the plan, German-based DT will use BEA e-commerce
software to process all business transaction over the next five
years.

Both companies say the outsourceing should speed-up online
order taking and installation of DT telephony and Internet services.
