vintage Rickenbacker bass put through an MXR DynaComp for squashing levels, then into the Freqbox (mix fully clockwise) and into the MF-101. The filter cutoff is modulated by a triangle wave from the MP-201, and the MP-201 pedal is controlling the lfo speed.

  • thats pretty sweet man

  • Thanks. I made another patch where an envelope that is triggered by the bass controls the lfo rate. I'll make a video for that soon.

  • ...how many more times...are you gonna dog me.

  • i'm totally gonna steal the first 5 notes

  • @paulliptrott Probably not anymore.

  • A Ric is a great bass to run through effects boxes.

  • That's really ultra-stonerish man. Reminds me of Sleep and Electric Wizard, that tone does.

    Digging it a bunch.

  • real nice analogue sound! you could really milk the LFO to get some sick dubstep sounds - would love to hear that through a 1x18.

nice bass too - is that a 4001?
