Why is it always the "loud" that people think is required to be noticed by cagers? It's not, as they have the windows rolled up, stereo turned up, and are talking on the cell phone. It's the visibility that is most important, not the noise-making. Unless you're right next to, or in front of, the cager, they won't hear you.

I have a Strat and like the stock pipe just fine.

Best stock sounding pipes I've ever heard.

GO TO MOOREPOWER RACING TELL THEM WHAT PIPE AND AIR CLEANER AND THEY WILL PRESET IT FOR YOU AND YES IT IS A PLUG AND PLAY SYSTEM, EASY INSTALL. I HAVE ROADSTAR WARRIOR W/ VANCE AND HINES 2 INTO 1. POWER COMMANDER, AND K&N AIR CLEANER. PIPE DOES HAVE BAFFLES AS NOT TO BE SO LOUD, BUT A DEEP THOUGHTY SOUND.

we all spend a fortune on aftermarket pipes! such a 'con' !!! Why don't the bike maufacturers make them like this in the first place? ? ? ?

Nice Job. :)

You know, I think it sounded fine with the stock pipes but the V&Hs sound good too. Yamaha makes some pretty decent sounding stocks.

vance and hines wow
so did you really notice a difference without the EXUP valve?
I've read that people have noticed a difference and others couldn't tell the difference of having and not

@nick112207 Yes, I totally noticed a difference. It's best noticed from this youtube video if you can listen to the sound with a subwoofer. That's where the sound change is noticed. From a coolness and a safety perspective, they were worth every penny,

Is the fuel pack hard to install if you do it yourself at home?

I had the yamaha shop install it. They had to play around with it for a while to get it just right. If you are not a mechanic, I would recommend letting a motorcycle shop at least adjust the air/fuel ratio on the fuel pak.
