Tucson - Joyce Shaffer

Singer Joyce Shaffer's new song, "Tucson" is dedicated to the American People.

Los Angeles, 1/22/11 Colorado singer songwriter, Joyce Shaffer has released a new song born from the tragedy in Tucson. In dedicating it to the American people she said, "It's times like these that show what the American people are made of. We have always been a resilient people. We will remember those that were lost at the hands of someone who needed help and didn't get it. Much has been said concerning this very sad situation and I wanted to help start the healing with this song."

Joyce has been a political voice across America and seeks to continue to help America with her music. Her songs run the gamut of country music to country music with a political bite and a patriotic love for America.
This country singer seeks to make her way to Nashville proudly embodying the name her fans have given her, "The Patriot." Look for a lot more country music from this patriotic and political Loretta Lynn.

In answer to your question about 9/11, I wrote a song entitled Dark Angels and it can be found on cdbaby or iTunes. It says it all! I also wrote a song "Yes, We're Still Mad As Hell", which adds to my opinion. Ha! The lyrics are copyrighted, but there isn't any sheet music, just the cd. Electronic downloads are the only means I have of sharing the song. Hopefully, another album will be in the near future. Blessings, Joyce
