A Short Vid, about Poverty in America.

Some of the statistics are not up to date, since I made this a couple of years ago for my Sociology Class. And our economy has changed quite drastically in the last few years. (things have only gotten worse)

Another thing, about 4 or 5 of the photos are no photos taken here in "America." But the information was my main focus.

"Each year, an additional 1.3 million children are born out of wedlock. Increasing marriage would reduce child poverty."....wtf that makes no sense what-so-ever. It's called people, you shouldn't fuckin have kids if you are not financially stable and responsible enough to have them...THAT would reduce poverty levels drastically.

That Quote i did not come up with. I agree with you, no one should have children unless there is financial stability, but being in an intact family has been evident in demonstrating that it can help prevent 'child' poverty.

I used facts from some of the books in the school's library and some websties.However, I can not recall what books or websties bc i made this like 3 years ago.

I Live in USA And All i can say is

The American Government cheating the USA Residence by Telling them, You're the chosen nation and The rest of the world is poor and messed up when it is all start here

some folks will say, they drink or dope, but if there was little way to make a living wage with some dignity, im not so sure that anyone could fall in despair...why do we as a nation send millions-billions to iraq, israel, and afghanistan when americans here at home are having a tough time,,,,,why is that? America could've payed for every homeless person to have a job, a house, and a car. Instead they payed off the rich bankers who already had mansions, jets, ferraris and gold toilets. If there is a god his name is satan.

@DphL0 Yes it should, not solely on financial merit per-say, but it's under the same category as "responsibility". And I used to make minimum wage for years so I do know what it's like first-hand but my girlfriend and I also had common sense to know that we could not afford a child, despite very much wanting one. That's the thing about minimum wage...if you dont like the pay, either find another job or work your ass off to scale the "corporate ladder". Difficult but still very possible.

You can not add crazy people who are to coo-coo to come out of the cold and rain as being poor there are plenty of shelters for them - they choose to be out because they are nuts.
