From http://www.VF.com: On February 28, 2007, Arthur Schlesinger Jr. passed away at the age of 89. This past December, he sat for what is believed to be his last group portrait: a shot of former members of the Kennedy administration, taken for the April issue of Vanity Fair as part of an historical portfolio that includes members from 10 presidential administrations. The photo, by Mark Seliger, was taken in Schlesinger's New York City apartment, where the speechwriter and special assistant for Latin American affairs under J.F.K. was surrounded by four former colleagues: Robert S. McNamara, Secretary of Defense; Richard N. Goodwin, Assistant Special Counsel to the President; Ted Sorensen, Special Counsel and Adviser; and Nicholas Katzenbach, Deputy Attorney General.
This is exclusive footage from the historic shoot. For the photo itself, and the text that appears alongside it in the April issue, see www.vanityfair.com/politics/features/200 7/03/schlesinger_200703.

"More wars in the Clinton era than in the W era" mark1234, what kind of an idiot are you? How many Americans died in Clinton's wars? How many in W's?? Check your recent history and let me know. Then try to absorb the fact that Bush was the worst President in the history of our great country, and then shut up and crawl back into your hole.
In response to Mkundera (can't be the writer, no way) who says the Kennedy folks were no more talented than the Bush tribe, read your history, asshole! The Kennedy group, for the most part, were intellectuals who actually gave some thought to new ideas for our country. The Bush Administration? Fear, loathing, secrecy, war, contempt for the constitution, spying on Americans....GET REAL.
contempt for the constitution, spying on Americans... sounds like Bubba Clinton to me. And he accepted campaign contributions from the Chinese in exchange for missile technology... in other words.. treason. And more wars happened in Clinton era than in the W era.
Good point Mike, 45 years ago yesterday was a sad day for America. I just hope that Barack Obama can give us the same leadership that President Kennedy did.
