  • Jani Kallunki won Paralympic Bronze medal again in Beijing 2008!!! He´s tough guy. He was close to get brighter medals. Let´s see what´s happening in London 2012.

  • it must be hard doing it blind

  • I hope some visually impaired judoka will take a comment for that. But I think the judokas don´t think so. They practise like all others. Sure you have to be talent if you are blind and start from the beginning. It´s much more difficult to learn without seeing.

  • One interesting thing is that while these people may not practice judo with the sheer strength of Olympic competitors, they're damn FAST. They pull off quick techniques much more often than in Olympic competitions.

  • Actually Jani do practising with the best Finnish judokas. He has taken part to national championships and with very good results. When visually impaired judokas take match against "sight" judokas only thing is they must start hands in clothes.

  • I bet that they're even better Judokas than seeing ones =) It IS more difficult to learn without seeing, but damn, after they've done with training...they gotta be the best Judokas alive...I mean to react solely by...reacting! That's what's Judo's all about and these people are living proofs. Heroes =) You gotta hand it to them. 5 stars for video, since I can't do much else!
