Best if watched in high quality option. See the difference between size of a Fox Squirrel and Gray Squirrels. This vid was taken without a tripod and from approx. 40 yards away.
I just love the fox squirrels. The are beautiful and a lot tamer than grey squirrels. I was at Myrtle Beach recently on a golf trip and they were coming up to us within 2-3 feet wanting us to feed them. I almost had one take a peanut from my hand, but he just wasn't confident enough, I layed it down and he just walked up, got it, and walked away. Never ran like he was scared. So cool!!
I have only been lucky enough to see one in Florida. The seem to be rare, but extremely beautiful.

I'm used to the gray backed and red tailed phase of the fox squirrel.
The ones in the Southeast and the coastal plain look freaky.

There are many grey squirrels in my backyard, but I've never seen fox squirrels. He is so cute. Thank you very much for showing this video. 5 stars!
