  • If I take something apart completely, I take out the mainboard and the display, you know, just everything. Of course, display is rather boring, but the other side of the mainboard might be interesting for some (e.g. hidden mini pci-e slots, hidden heatpipes,,).. ;)

But thanks for the video anyway! Good work!

  • You are completely right so I changed the description for a more appropriate Text. German Vid should be up soon with more details.

  • What kind of PLL it have? ICSxxxxxxxxx ? Thank you

  • Thanks for made this is was verry usefull!!!

  • Replacing the keyboard ribbon cable isn't that difficult. I you look closely at the connector you'll see that the toppart is hinged. Gently replace the ribbon cable (dont use any force) and snap the hinged part down onto the cable. That should do the trick.

  • @TheJens7777777 - Did you have any joy in getting help?

  • @swayzak2 - help! I can't get the keyboard ribbon cable back in - can anyone help?

  • yes when and how did you do the RAM UG not shown

  • Thanks for the video - I finally plucked up the courage to upgrade today & it went fine !

One thing though - you don't actually have to wrestle that plastic cover off completely for the RAM upgrade. I managed to do it by just releasing the front part & CAREFULLY flexing it to get enough access to the ram slot.

Now just need to upgrade the harddrive ..... :)

  • I don't get it, can't you please tell me some more? i see that you take it apart, but how does that upgrade the ram? please some one tell me how i do that because i would really like to make mine faster :)
