@orbitaljoe And I think I've seen someone add a USB HDD, routing it under the dash and into the glove box to store their music.

Really should have used a tripod or something, the shaking halfway through was unbearable.

You were demonstrating all this while you were driving? Seriously, were you actually able to watch where you were going?

@AptosWatcher No... I was parked safe and sound while doing the demo.

Actually the system has a 40Gb hard drive and 30Gb is set aside for the transfer of maps from the DVD to the drive. The DVD does not need to be present after the transfer. The remaining 10Gb is available for Jukebox storage.

Great video. Very informative. I got a question, is the nav DVD based? If so do you have to use a space within the 6 disc changer or does it have a designated disc drive to accept the DVD map?

@eagl3seyes Not sure if the DVD is always in the system or not. It has a 10Gb hard drive so it only has a single disc system. I can put discs in and out all I want. If the system needs the DVD in there all the time, it must have another drive. It's likely that the nav system copies the data from a DVD to the hard drive.
