@radatoms Just because the US were the only ones who used nuclear bombs then it isn't a nuclear war? Anyone using nuclear weapons makes it a nuclear war in my books because the victim of the attack will most likely not retaliate. The US is on the path of self destruction similar to Rome, so nothing they do going forward will surprise me...
@calgary1231 hiroshima and nagasaki were not events pertaining to a 'nuclear war'; they were the first instances of nuclear bombs used, however they definitely do not characterize a nuclear war. If anything the bombs dropped on japan proved the power of nuclear weapons while also being a justified action which helped ended the war. In fact I believe that Hiroshima and Nagasaki created a security-blanket foundation of 'threat' which detracts from actual nuclear action.
@radatoms Not sure if you've done any research into war, but maybe you should look into Hiroshima and Nagasaki if you don't think humans will never stoop to a nuclear war...
I hate to tell you fellas but you are not the 99%. It is arrogant and presumptious to make this claim. If you represented the views of 99% of the American people you would be unstoppable. You however represent the interests of the SEIU.
Why not do the research? I think if you did you would find that the danger is very real. One side seems hell-bent on war - perhaps it is the sanity and restraint of the "other' side that has kept things from blowing up.
just another conspiracy...im surprised how low some of us human beings think of our fellow kind. the world, and its leaders will never stoop to nuclear war/ self-destruction. we are smarter than that.
