This is the morning after the surprise November 20, 2000 storm that shut down Buffalo and left thousands stranded in their cars and buses across the city. John Kosich and Kathleen Leighton co-anchor. Joanna Pasceri reports live.
I was attending UB when this storm happened. I was living on Heath
St. across from UB's South Campus. My roomates girlfriend's brother was stranded on a school bus on Winspear and Main St., so we got him and several of his friends, and brought them back to our house. We called all their parents and had them spend the night at the house. It snowed over 6ft in 24-25 hours. CRAZY!
Hey...YO....It's Mayor Tonyyyyyyyyyyyyy!

A set of Blizzaks on my 94 LeSabre - made it home no problem. Was at the beginning of the storm however.
