Koncz Zsuzsa egy nagyon tehetséges művésznő. Ezt a számát nagyon szeretem, de nem csak azért mert már énekeltem is:)

A time of sensorship seems to always be close at hand no matter what country you live in for freedom of ideas and expression are easily and readily attacked and reasons and justifications are easily manufactured. So we are not that far removed from Hungary at this point are we??

One of the biggest composer is János Brody. In 1975 he was charged (and maybe sentenced) and the album of Zsuzsa Koncz called "I'll became a gardener" was made after that incident

(János Brody wrote many songs to Zsuzsa Koncz). The album contains only songs made from poems and verses (from Attila József and János Arany, two of the greatest Hungarian poets) saying if the political system don't accept verses from Bródy, here you are Attila József and János Arany.

That time in Hungary,however censorship would be against the law but there were taboo topics which were not to be spoken or written.It was prohibited to speak about even ethnical or social problems and especially to talk about the Soviet Union.However many writers and poets used poems to talk about those topics. Later Hungarian musicians also started to use this form of communication and to express feelings to the people at large.
