For good reason. Faster means heavier, harder to control, and more likely to #$&% something up. and shipping to mars and the moon is way more expensive than FedEx.

why can't they program a robot to make several movements simultaneously, and now it moves so discreet, so it takes long to make a chain of movements.

Almost every robot is still in it's prototype-stage =)
