a alot of bashing on Mr. Bauerlein!!! i give you respect on those opinions. i must post my own opinion...as if anyone cares/// but i agree with his thesis... im 24 and can recognize what it is he's talking about. everyone i know is connected with some sort of networking service.. american culture is a pop culture.. we do not really embrace history, arts, hummanities... so on and so forth. sure, i dont like being called dumb just like the next guy, but i c where he's going in his argument!

Bauerlein's opinions are baseless. He obviously has issues with his students as he considers them to be dumb. Who wants a teacher who talks down to them? I think he should take his book to counceling with him as evidence of his problems.

You guys are just mad because you're the one's that are in the group of dumbasses. Just hang out with a 30- person and you will see the lack of depth they have.
