I met up with some University of Moscow researchers and they have a much better system and a Significantly Cheaper [and excellent] scope made by a those high end Russian Optical companies.
That scope looked like it was designed by Porsche and was being sent to Mars!
The Russians really know their glass... if that marketing thing toward the WEST improves... we'll be blown away by their talented scientists!
A good scope like the Kowa, not the Swarovski i have used one not worth the money, is about £500
it is fine for viewing, but less so for photos i used to have one with a nikon and gave up. it is cheaper and certainly better to opt for a slr with lens and pos a teleconverter in good light the results will be better.
if the scope idea has enough quality the pros would use but it does not.
Varies. Cost of a spotting score of your choice + cost of compatible digital camera of your choice. And an adaptor will more than likely be required, again, depending on models.
is it hard to focus the digiscope on a camera viewfinder or a 1.5 inch screen

how much are digiscopes

That's what digiscoping is. Attaching a digital camera to the rear of a scope so you can keep the shots.
