@MetaLatias5 This is the censored version: due to the political uproar in violence used in Animation (due to the Columbine Massacre in 1999) Warner Bros had to hold back the release date in order to edit the film: by doing so it was dropped from a PG-13 to a PG. I agree Tim killing him is a much worse death but being electrocuted? Yikes: even by not seeing it you know its happening: poor Joker :(

@rikkiandsparkey there were 2 versions 1 for the tv version and 1 for the VHS/DVD versions

The death of the Joker was so intense in both versions, though I prefer the original because Robin is the one who kills him. In this version, Joker pretty much accidentally kills himself. Robin's shooting Joker shows that no matter what he did to him, his real persona was stronger and his love and devotion to Batman could not be taken away even through torture.

@rikkiandsparkey No, you're right. This is the censored version of the film. Though the way Joker dies is still pretty brutal even in the censored version.
