  • You're an idiot, he specifically said "not this year"... not in 2010, because the property tax cap doesn't go into effect until this year 2011. Then you cite an article which says property taxes up in 2010. FAIL.

  • @lgmin2k2 He said "not this year" in 2010. But he did raise taxes by 24% in 2011.

  • @AllAboutChristie I feel like someone already said that...someone like lgmin2k2....weird.

  • @lgmin2k2 Regardless if he's right about a 2.5 increase...25% IS INSANE. Guess he raped the state before his bs went into effect...

  • @justteach1 Of course the budget cycle starts in July... what does that have to do with this statement here... he says at 0:14 that since the tax cap didn't go into effect until 2011, the property tax bill you would get in August 2010 would not be within the cap... the video then cites an inquirer article commenting on the August 2010 property tax bill. If you cant understand the flaw in the argument you're just an idiot.

  • @lgmin2k2 Um......you realize that a budget cycle starts in July.....right? So the video is right.

  • People act like 2.5% raise is nothing- there is a reason why the current tax levels are in the place they are... If you allow politicians to raise your property tax by 2.5% every year- in 28 years you are paying DOUBLE because of compounding. Yea keep letting education get cuts, the less people know math the more they will get raked over the coals by greedy fat headed swine.

  • @AllAboutChristie you are clearly wrong... your own source says property taxes up 24% in 2010, the property taxes for 2011 are clearly not determined yet since the year just started...

  • @ConservativeSushi Well said!
