I don’t see how her debut album wasn’t the biggest hit of 2008. She performs synthpop music which is catchy and commercial enough to storm the charts (along the lines of Lady Gaga), but at the same time authentic and non-manufactured enough to appeal to those of an indie mentality (unlike Lady Gaga). Not to mention enough 80s references to hook an older generation. And she is incredibly beautiful as well. I love Ladyhawke.

I remember the first time I ever heard this song I was like wow what a cool 80s song! I tried finding out the name but it didnt seem to be a popular song and no one seemed to know what it was. I waited until like a month later when I just by chance heard it again and memorized the lyrics so that I could look for the song on the internet. I was surprised to see it was not an 80s song!! I was then introduced to Ladyhawke and happy to see she is a current artist with lots of other good songs :)
