Shih Tzu Howie Clicker/Target Training to Ring a Bell

This is Howie's fourth session in learning to ring a desk bell. He has already learned "touch" which means to touch his nose to the target ball. When he touches the ball, I click my clicker and give him a treat. When he hears the click, he knows what he has done is good, and expects a treat to come.
This training is to get him to touch the bell to ring it. Then we will train him to ring the bell when he has to go outside. Problem is, he is afraid of the bell! Notice when I ring it a little too loud, he gets scared. Cute little fella! :) Excuse the basketball game and burping hubby in the background...and my foot in the foreground. You do what you have to do! ;)
