That's about 45 kg, and that's more than twice what a real APBT normally weighs.
My dog (a Ca de Bou) weight about 35 kg, and he looks much bigger than that dog.
But people are good at exaggerating the weight of their dogs...

@xsweetestxmisery it is my experience that building the muscle of the dog with a chain like that is good for the character of the dog...the dog wants to be challenged just like we do, tho in a different fashion, im told that running with your dog through an obstacle course is one of the funnest things for them

by UKC standards pitbulls can weight 100+, its not common but through selective breeding they can weight that much. Aslong as the body is to porportion. Just because no one needs hog hunting dogs or pit fighters that weight 40lbs, doesn't make them not a pitbull. No need for huge chain either, its not even connected to the leash. That will only hurt his neck, even though its only 5lbs maybe

i think its amusing that she has the a huge chain on the dog.. adn its not connected to anything.. and that tiny ass chain.. is whats on him,.. i dont think thatd stop him if he really wanted to run..

dunno what the purpose of having a HUGE chain like that on her dog is for. but props to her for being a responsible dog owner and props to her dog for getting some positive media out there. I think he got sick of his bad rap and wants some good attention now!
