"It's all going down, and there's next to nothing that the average citizen can do about it.".... The Occupy movement should be careful and NOT accept any new currencies. @7333craig They can't cut spending, because it's embedded in the system that power is obtained by giving people "stuff"-union benefits, pork barrel projects, welfare, comfortable pensions, etc., etc. When a whole nation of people is addicted to such things, taking any of them away or even cutting them evokes a very visceral and hysterical reaction-witness the behavior of the government union members in Wisconsin last year. The whole thing will collapse, it's only a matter of time.
