this was lots of fun ;)

Virgin America was so dedicated to SNA/ Orange County/ JWA they discontinued the route four months ago. Coincidentally Southwest launched the same SFO-SNA route the day before Virgin did. As of today both United and Southwest continue to operate the route but Virgin doesn't. Apparently Virgin America couldn't handle the head-to-head competition challenge from Southwest.

I live in Orange County and it's sad they had to cancel service to San Francisco, I'd much rather fly with Virgin America rather than Southwest or United.

Dang! No wonder this airline continues to burn money. Having all these extravagant openings, they don't even fly to SNA anymore.

Richard Branson is a cool guy. He was once at a seminar in The Netherlands (my country) where visitors could ask questions via sms/e-mail. The visitors were of course in the auditorium. When two students asked: "You're going to meet Obama later today, could you take 2 poor students with you?". And he took them with him in his private jet. Well, I thought it was funny :D.
