Everett Rogers (1931-2004) was a pioneer in the field of innovation dissemination and communication. Best known for developing the "diffusion of innovations" paradigm--which is broadly used throughout the social sciences--Rogers was the author of thirty books and hundreds of scholarly articles. His work examined technology transfer and the rise of technologies, health communication, media agenda setting, intercultural communication, and entertainment-education.

This documentary--which includes interview footage taped just days before his death in October 2004--celebrates Rogers' life as an internationally-acclaimed professor, author, researcher, and health educator. Producer: Dr. Glenda Balas; Videographer/Editor: Jason Balas
