Mountain Models EVA Biplane

Flight with the EVA Biplane in beautiful calm conditions. I wish I'd gone to the park earlier and had a second battery. This sort of flying is what it's all about for me, good fun and relaxing at the same time.

This was filmed with my Sony still camera attached to the top of an old bicycle helmet. I must have looked uber dorky but I'm pretty pleased with the video results :)

The EVA is becoming an old faithful now. The biplane always behaves so well, I think I prefer the Bipe to the Sport wings. Check out www.mountainmodels.com to see this and other great designs. (I'm not linked with them in any way).

Hi,

I took this plane one year ago from the states to the Netherlands (amsterdam) when i was on vacation. Now finally got the electronics and it is almost ready to go. Mine weighs about 600 grams with battery. What is your setup? Im using a 1500mah 3 cell lipo with a 800kv 50grams motor. I am a bit worried that this motor wont deliver enough power to hang it on the prop, which is a 10x4.7.
