This is my school bus golf cart. It was painted National School Bus Chrome, lager mud guards were added (gee, i wonder why :D.) Also, a few Blue Bird logos were added.

It is equipped with a 2 stroke single cylinder Robins Engine (3PG)

  • gotta add a stop sign and warning lights lol

  • @phonejoey I have a stop arm, but I don't know how to make the lights alternate on it.

  • Wow, that bus, I mean cart, sure can move quickly!

Great job with the upgrade, too! *Thumbs up*

Would you be able to tell me where you got that wonderful backup alarm, by any chance? ;-)

  • There is a microswitch that is activated when the gas peddle is pressed. Basically, you press the gas, a paw like thing comes out, lets the switch pop out and (if everything is wired correctly) the engine cranks. Most novice golf carters don't realize that just because the engine is turning over doesn't mean that it is running. The engine is only actually running when the Revolutions Per Minutes pick up. I can make a video explaining this if you would like Retrochad.

  • Very nice paint job! I was trying to imagine how you could add a flashing warning light system to it...maybe clearance lights and a strobe?

I never have figured out how the starter works on these golf carts to start them by just pushing the accelerator.
