As a Dave fan since 1995, I personally dont know what to think of a person who would claim to be a Dave fan but know nothing of Willie Nelson's music. Dave has done tons of Willie covers and has always mentioned Willie's music. Heck they have even recorded together and toured together. I saw them together in Memphis and it was an awesome show. One of the best I have ever seen. You cannot be a true Dave fan and not know these things. We like to call those people "MTV DMB Tagalong".

@iKaHDoosH DMB is a great band. I love their music too. But perhaps you should get to know the greatest american songwriter Willie Nelson, its worth it. There are so few originals left.

This song is not about octaves, and singing ability, or chords..It's about a FEELING. Watch the one that is titled "WIllie Nelson - 1997 - Funny How Time Slips Away." You can FEEL what he's playing and singing.
