@NoonJoon my cats first litter... it was sad... they ended up passing, they were sick. Since then she didn't like being in my dads home. Would meow at the door from outside but being in more than a few minutes she'd meow to go out... so I imagine it does have an impact on them as she was never like that before...

@KittenloverUK The illness the mother had was passed on through her blood. Are you familiar with the way pregnancy works? That's a pretty stupid comment to make because even the mother cat was touching the kittens. Also it is quite rare that a cat "dis-owns" her kittens. This is obviously not a feral or fractious cat giving birth here. That sort of thing happens in the wild- and not often enough to state that as if it is the norm.

The cats did NOT die because "they were being watched." If that assessment were true there would be dead animals in astronomical numbers. PLEASE check your facts BEFORE you say something so inapproproately idiotic. That sweet little girl, nor her loving mother, need to carry such a weighty burden as to think they were responsible for such a blameless tragedy. I pray they are continually blessed for their efforts. I wish more people were like them.
