As the baby boomer population gets older and there are fewer taxpayers, how does Mr. Dosanjh think we are going to pay for a 100% public system? I think we should put a private option on the table. No, not an "American" system, but a reformed Canadian system where we have strong public healthcare but also private choices.

Note that he speaks of provincial involvement, the US should involve the states in the health bill as it leads to a more responsive system.

Dosanjh speaks very well about our healthcare system. He is frank, admits our shortcomings, and presents ideas and hope for the future.
