#135. Whilst sitting in my friend's backyard here in Vienna, it struck me that I could really be anywhere, with the same sights, sounds and feelings, though the languages of the birds and children may be different. It's a strange thing to realize, that no matter where you go, you are you.
I loved this song and this sentiment.

I think this is really lovely; I love the idea of being yourself no matter where you go. Thanks for the song!
There's also a way, though, that geography shapes us, changes us. The place you're in--the land, the buildings, the people, the values--has a big impact on how you grow and form. I've lived in the rural Midwest, Chicago, rural Southwest, and the Bay, and each place has changed the direction of my life and the knowledge influencing my soul. Just some food for thought. :)

Nice song, and keen observation. I believe it was Confucius who once said "'No matter where you go, there you are."
