In this video, i'll be showing you all.. how to create a group bus n Reason 6; also with this video I'm using a old song from my archive and replaced the synth bass with a real acoustic bass that i played; i also played the guitar and duplicated that track to phatten up the track.
I also laid down some vocals to help show how grouping the tracks can help with your work flow.

  • I use this Combinator + mix channel + sliding in the vocals or the audio tracks + flip the screen + connect each vocal track to the mix channel = a bus for vocals. You can do this for separate parts like high Vox, mid Vox, low vox or soprano, alto, tenor, bass.

  • Great vid. The reason you can mute the group but not solo it is because muting it stops the audio path from reaching the output. But soloing it isolates the mix channel itself from the non-soloed channels. Try running the signals to a seperate mixer in the rack and then to a mix channel.
