Lurchers/Saluki ferreting rabbits. In memory of my beloved wee lurcher Kelly who I sadly lost on 14 Dec 2006, aged 14. Remembered and loved forever.

  • Well jun7per, we believe in letting our dogs do what they were bred to do. There is certainly nothing Poor about them. We currently have seven lurchers and salukis who will live out their happy hunting lives in our house. Not all people who use dogs for hunting abuse them, infact if you looked into it you will probably find they think more of their dogs than those who have them soley as pets. Sadly a small minority dont but please dont make a judgement based on them!! Ignorance at its best:(

  • @chinbunny1 PLEASE EVERYBODY READ THIS COMMENT! TOTAL CLASS!!

  • @jun7per Grow up, i have two lurchers who both are used for hunting and neither one has been mistreated, where do you get all this bull shit from about dogs being abused when they are working dogs ?? yeah yours might of but there are thousands and thousands of working dogs that are not mistreated. Oh and my lurchers are not poor lurchers they have a fantastic life doing what they were bred to .

  • Wait so at one point i saw a ferret, i have never heard of ferreting rabbits so please explain. were you after ferrets or rabbits? or both? I would try to deduce this myself but in pictures all i saw was rabbits yet starting at 1:00 I defiantly saw a ferret.

  • @jun7per

my dogs are working dogs they love working. there nouthing els they would rather do than being out running quary. and theres a much bigger bond when you work with your dogs

  • @jun7per Yeah blame the hunters. And you watched it so that'll make it 54,207.

  • @jun7per

thats a terrible and one sided thing to say... These dogs wake up every day in hopes that they can work and do what their blood is even flowing for.. Yes they can still be a sleepy couch pig when they come home after a happy day of hunting. You need some light shed on the subject. A non abused hunting dog that is worked is a happy dog!

  • Hey there I'm not into hunting being a city boy, but U was wonder how the dogs get on with the ferrets don't they attack them by accident. Or am I being silly thinking that one small furry animal is much the same to a dog.

    Thanks
