legolas killed 19 uruk's in the first 5 minutes of the battle, and only killed 23 for the rest of it, which i'm guessing was a couple of hours at least. baffles me a bit

there we're the elves of mirkwood, which legolas belonged to.
there was also the elves of lothlorien, (cate blanchett and all her hot friends threw parties there)

If I can remember correctly, one Elven unit was really good at bows. The other was specialized in something else but bows as well. (Medieval 2 Total War MOD)
Im all for being part of the Elven faction. Dont relate this to warhammer 40k. Eldar did something to the TAU (you dont want to know and I dont know the story behind it but someone tried to explain it).

2 different Elven races. I dont think the 2 liked each other either yet they fought along the side with man against the so called "EVIL FORCES".
It was MAN that fucked it all up in the first place with the ring. Who can we thank for that?

Well, you see... technically, Legolas was the 1 who won. He shot an arrow, hitting the rope being used to raise 1 of those big ladders the Uruk where using to reach the upper level of the fort. Not only the ladder was full of baddies, it fell on top of more baddies. Probably nailing 43+ w/ 1 arrow. But I guess if Gimli witnessed that shot, he would have said: "that only counts as 1" just like Leg's oliphant+passagers kill in the next movie. Its cool Leg's, its cool...
