Van Halen-Walk Away (James Gang cover)

To the guy who posted this...thanks! In my opinion this is priceless. I have watched it about 10 times now and it really reminds me of a day when the greatest heavy "American" band walked the earth. Yes Black Sabbath, Priest , Maiden and the like were among the greatest bands on Earth but Van Halen was California not England. Great addition to this site. Fantastic addition. Thanks again.

I agree with SkizMaroo!!!! If your a great musician or band you keep making new music not reunion tours!!! That's a job for KISS!!! Sammy keeps working and writing. I know some people hate Sammy but at 63 he's still rock'in!!! Chickenfoot ROCKS!!!!

What gives you the right, the guys who screw around in their bedrooms with their guitars,(attempting)to play classics like this one, to say that Van Halen shouldnt have covered this song, whilst you are doing it aswell...kind of hypocritical, dontcha think?

Yeah, I don't know what everybody's talking about. Sure, it's not the original- but it's alright. A cover is a cover. I'm sure they weren't thinking about composition or production quality beyond that one night. It's a little sloppy, but they were probably a little tipsy, and the people there listening were probably equally inebriated, if not more-so. The drums & solo work on this rock, actually.
