When I first started coaching competitive soccer at Bay Oaks I realized that I must teach speed, agility and balance training to the players. This is a very well put together video.

I saw nothing done AT SPEED with INTENSITY in those drills. Intensity or game speed wasn't even mentioned. These drills are fine for OFF days or at the conclusion of practice but to call this "Speed, Agility & Quickness Training" is a flat out lie. If you want to get faster for soccer, you need REAL strength training. X-Factor Soccer WORKS.

I didn't have cones so we used soccer balls evenly spaced out and we did first the back and forth, moving laterally then the pop. I am thankful for your discussion of the details behind each run through and for the circuit tips- was thinking that way since everything flows so much the better with stations to move through instead of lining up again. Initially though, I'll probably set up 2 separate lines to cover just the1st segment of your video since there's so many points to hit- thank you

Thank you Kevin and Peter. I am new to coaching and to soccer. I have been teaching myself as I go. Your speed and agility tips are right on point. I can't wait to try them out with our girls next season. I think is one of the components that are girls are missing.
