NBC took it down so you would watch the video on their website (the conan section). Millions of people watching that would give quite a bit of ad revenue for NBC's web presence. Having it up illegally on youtube would give no money to NBC. Yes, yes, it might in the future bring good publicity, but they did what they thought was best to gain as much profit as they can for their company during a economic collapse. They did what any company should do.

I need to stop reading comments. There never about the video. Just a bunch of pointless wit wars. People trying to outsmart each other.
