it's a must black people see this movie because it is part of our history. and just to think they gave her clemency . August 2005 Baker was pardoned posthumously by the state Board of Pardons and Paroles. The board acknowledged that the 1945 decision to deny Baker clemency was "a grievous error" and that Baker could have been charged with the lesser crime of voluntary manslaughter, which would have prevented the sentence of capital punishment.

Watching it right now and I am shaking my head, not with disbelief, because I know my history, but with sadness and rage for the total lack of disregard for human life.
I will never ever get it, how a man can hate for skin colour, it is a wasteful and pathetic way to spend our one life.
