The exercise is simple: Start with a monologue (in this video they all have the same one). Read it aloud to your partner. Then, take a pencil and underline all action verbs, circle all adjectives, and draw boxes around all nouns. Recite the monologue again, but this time leave out anything that is underlined, circled, or in a box; instead of saying the words, act them out. Switch and watch your partner.
Then read it again, saying all words this time. But keep the facial expressions, and keep the gestures.
The idea is to have them unlock their face, hands and body; to quickly locate the important words in a story; and to help with speedy memorization.
