Emma/Scott/Jean/Logan Divided Loyalties

When Emma Frost (White Queen) shows up after Scott's rebirth, Scott finds himself falling for the icy friend of Logan's. Emma teaches Scott to control his powers as Rogue watches from afar.

Jean is reborn at the same time as Scott and everyone expects Jean to be happy when Scott returns to her, but Jean missed Logan the most, and Phoenix (just beneath the surface) wants nothing to do with the unfaithful ex-husband.

Rogue sees that Scott knows Phoenix's desire and sees him takes it out on Jean. After one of many fights, Charles tries to get Jean to leave Scott due to the now abusive nature of their relationship. Rogue overhears and tells Logan. Logan and Jean argue about Scott and Jean walks out, but listens to Logan and leaves Scott. Over time Jean and Logan become closer, but Logan doesn't want to get to close because he thinks she is still not over Scott.

Emma gets attacked and manages to fight of the Hellfire Club minion, but knows that others will come. Scott is terrified for Emma and asks Jean to help her. Jean agrees and obliterates the Black King. Emma and Scott finally get together with Jeans help and blessing. This leaves Logan more sure of Jean's feelings towards Scott and towards himself. Logan and Jean are finally together.
