TuT: Learn how to put the SNES emulator on your DS.

NOTE** Edge and Acekard 21 ARE ABLE to run the SNES Emulator WITHOUT MOONSHELL. R4i-sdhc on the other hand CANNOT run the SNES Emulator WITHOUT MOONSHELL.

REQUIREMENTS -
A Nintendo DS
An EDGE type cartridge
A microSD card
Moonshell 2 (NOT 1.71)

INSTRUCTIONS -
First, download SNEmulDS 0.6 Alpha.
Second, open up your microSD card.
Third, create a new folder within the card. (Preferably SNES)
Fourth, place the SNEmulDS 0.6 Alpha in that file.
Fifth, create a folder within the said folder in step three. (Preferably SNES Emulator)
Sixth, move SNEmulDS 0.6 Alpha in said folder in step five.
Seventh, download any rom you like.
Eigth, place the rom in said folder in step three.
Ninth, play the SNES rom!

Hey, thanks for the vid. I ran 0.6 on my DSi XL and it's working, but I haven't seen anyone mention screwed up graphics. Each game has various glitched graphics or minor sound defects. I've tried messing with all the options, but it seems no combinations gets it right. Anyone have any ideas?

@bbblackwell Totally normal. The reason for this is because the DS isn't an SNES, and what I mean by that, (correct me if I'm wrong) its because the DS isn't meant to run those games because (yes, another one), of the RAM or something similar. Now, if this were a PSP or something better, I'm sure this would work no problem (depending on the author of the program). Hope this helps.

can you do it on a sd card

@PastelStudios The SD card is what goes into the EDGE cartridge. So depending on how your asking this, then yes you can do it on an SD card as its the memory source that will contain it, however; its only executable by the DS software meaning that if you took out your SD card and plugged it into the computer via other means, it isn't playable.

Does the SNEmulDs work for the DSi XL with an R4i 3DS card??? I have been reading that it can possibly damage the top screen. Do you know if this is true?

Hé, i tried everything with my dstt card,should be the same as R4 cards butt it doesn't work, can do nes en the rest butt this 1 can't get it to work, i've installed moonshell 2 and that snesmuld alpha 2 software ,even did make the files the way you do and my way...can you discribe what you have on youre ds when you power on from top 2 button when you only have this software on youre ds, srry butt can't see it and youre ds a litle different then mine
