A documentary about the choristers of St Paul Cathedral, London. First broadcast on 17 December 1978.
This segment features the choir practicing and singing for the Queen Mother.
Songs include "Be Thou our Vision," "God Save the Queen" and "When a Merry Maiden Marries."
Very precise singing! I am just amazed at those high notes that these boys can reach!

I'm planning on naming my son Denver Phoenix....I don't suppose its suggesting too much about the hopes I have for him XD
We're all former choristers in my family. And if for some reason one of us don't sing, we're musicians of some sort. Lol.
But of course, he could be a music-hating grease monkey and I'll still think he's the greatest thing in the world.

Another former RSCM chorister here! I met Barry Rose in the late 80's when he gave organ recital at the church I sang in. Oh and Addington Palace was the best place, shame the RSCM moved from there.

My two kids, 7 and 8, want to watch this over and over. They are in an Episcopal Choir now.
