Ghosts of Cité Soleil- In Cinemas July 20th

Two hours off the shores of Miami Beach, Haiti lies nestled next to the Dominican Republic, ignored by the rest of the world. It is a country of poverty and despair and violence. But to the vast majority of people who have never set foot in Haiti, "Hell" is the only word that can truly convey its condition of life.

Ghosts of Cité Soleil is the story of young armed men from the slum being used for political purposes, a testament of desperate dreams in a ghetto world where dog eats dog. The reality of life in Haiti unfolds before us as we get to know two brothers and their stories intimately. They are 2Pac and Bily, Haitian gang leaders who strive to make better choices in a world with no choices at all.

@clabinplus @clabinplus This movie shouldn't be called a documentary. That's my problem with it. Many of the supposed facts are lies and also detrimental to stabillity in the country. This is something I expect from CNN and the other U.S news outlets but not something Wyclef would participate in. But let's deal with out current problems. this is the least of our issues.

@makandale330 It's haiti....if u do'nt know the boss of gang... u can't enter in cité soleil. Wyclef is one the rare person who can enter in cité soleil without problem,cause he's singer represent those poors peoples...he need accept everyone in cité soleil,cause everyone like him...badboys as goodboys...
